IDF Oral Clinic LTDA, registered under CNPJ (the Brazilian company tax ID) no. 37.057.793/0001-95, with its registered office at Av. Brigadeiro Luís Antônio, 4524, Jardim Paulista, São Paulo/SP, is responsible for processing the personal data collected through this site and through our service channels, including WhatsApp Business. This Policy was drawn up in accordance with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados Pessoais, Law 13.709/2018 – LGPD) and explains clearly how we collect, use, store and protect your data.

1. Personal data we collect

We may collect the following personal data when you interact with our site or our service channels:

  • Full name
  • Phone number (including WhatsApp)
  • Email address
  • Browsing data on the site (cookies, IP address, pages visited, time spent on the site)
  • Information you provide voluntarily when booking an appointment or during a WhatsApp conversation

2. Purposes of the processing

We use your personal data solely for the following purposes:

  • Booking appointments and providing dental care
  • Contacting you by WhatsApp, phone or email about treatments, services and clinical guidance
  • Sending appointment reminders, booking confirmations and post-treatment follow-up
  • Sending institutional information about the clinic and about new services (subject to your consent)
  • Improving the browsing experience on the site
  • Complying with the legal and regulatory obligations that apply to the healthcare sector

3. Communication via WhatsApp Business

By providing your phone number and consenting to receive messages, you authorize IDF Oral Clinic to send you communications through the WhatsApp Business API, including:

  • Confirmations and reminders for scheduled appointments
  • Information about treatments in progress
  • Pre- and post-procedure guidance
  • Institutional communications about the clinic and its services

You may ask us to stop sending messages at any time by sending the word "PARAR" (Portuguese for "stop") to our WhatsApp, or through the channels listed in the "Contact" section.

We do not use WhatsApp to send unsolicited promotional messages. Every communication is based on your prior consent or on the need to perform the dental services agreement.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes. Your data may be shared only in the following situations:

  • With service providers essential to the running of the clinic (scheduling platforms, dental practice management systems, prosthetics laboratories)
  • With the Meta/WhatsApp platform, to make service through the WhatsApp Business API possible
  • With Google LLC (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads) and Meta Platforms (Meta Pixel), for audience and campaign measurement — only if you authorize the corresponding categories in the consent banner
  • With dental insurance providers, where applicable
  • Where required by law, by regulation or by court order
  • With health authorities, where required by health legislation

6. Storage and security

Your personal data is stored on secure servers and protected by technical and administrative measures appropriate to prevent unauthorized access, loss, alteration or leakage.

Data is kept for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes of this policy, observing the legal retention periods, in particular those set out in health legislation and in the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code. Dental records are kept for a minimum period of 20 (twenty) years, as determined by the Conselho Federal de Odontologia (Brazil's Federal Council of Dentistry).

7. Your rights as a data subject

Under the LGPD, you have the following rights:

  • Confirm that your personal data is being processed
  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data
  • Request the anonymization, blocking or deletion of data that is unnecessary or excessive, or that has been processed in breach of the law
  • Request the portability of your data to another service provider
  • Request the deletion of data processed on the basis of consent
  • Obtain information about the entities with which we share your data
  • Be informed that you may withhold consent and about the consequences of doing so
  • Withdraw your consent at any time, by express request

To exercise any of these rights, use the channels in the "Contact" section.

8. Cookies and tracking technologies

The first time you enter the site, you are shown a banner where you choose which cookie categories you accept. Until you decide, no optional category is activated: we use Google Consent Mode v2, which keeps analytics and advertising storage denied by default.

The categories are:

  • Necessary: keep the site working and store your own consent choice. They cannot be switched off and do not depend on authorization.
  • Analytics: measure audience and page usage, through Google Analytics 4. They are activated only once you accept.
  • Marketing: make it possible to measure campaigns and show relevant ads, through Google Ads and Meta Pixel. They are activated only once you accept.

You may review or withdraw your choice at any time through the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page, and you may also delete cookies in your browser settings. Switching off some cookies may affect features of the site.

The record of your consent is kept for 6 months; once that period ends, we ask again.

9. International transfer of data

Some of the services we use (site hosting, email, the WhatsApp Business API, and the measurement tools from Google and Meta) may store data on servers located outside Brazil. In those cases, we ensure that the transfer is carried out in compliance with the LGPD, with appropriate security measures in place.

10. Changes to this policy

This Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in legal requirements. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the date of the last change. Changes that broaden processing subject to consent will cause the banner to be shown again.
